Optimizing organizations is all about delivering extraordinary value, competitive advantage, and sustainable results. Leaders can begin this journey at the enterprise level or within specific subunits.
At the enterprise level, executives may conduct an assessment of how their organization is performing by using the Organization Performance System survey tool. The survey covers The Core Foundation – value proposition, technical system, financial/commercial aspects, and the Performance Drivers – strategy and business model, leadership, operating and organization model, human capital, high performance culture, governance and management systems, organization transformation and organizational communication. The leadership team can use this data to identify key opportunities, set priorities, and to develop a plan for a step change in performance. At the subunit level, the Organization Performance Assessment can also be tailored for a unit’s specific needs.
In addition, there are three specific workshops that provide leaders and employees an effective way to align and transform their performance. These are short half day workshops that can be done separately or as a series.
Developing Strategic Alignment – leaders and employees clarify the company or division level strategic goals and identify how their various functional role contributes to achieving those goals. That analysis is then used to develop key objectives and KPI’s for helping deliver the broader strategy.
Elevating Value Delivery – a group of leaders and employees focus on how they deliver value to the larger organization, clarify their value propositions, and align their products and services to ensure that they are delivering the optimum value.
Building the Performance System – a group of leaders and employees look at the key barriers to optimizing their value delivery and contributions to the strategic goals. These barriers are based on the Organization Performance System framework. Leaders develop plans to systemically turn these barriers into positive forces for sustainable results.
